Every piece is unique, hand-crafted to honor your loved one
These are examples of pieces made for other families. None is for sale, because each was made for one person. They are here to show what’s possible: a range of forms, glazing styles, the way a piece can be quiet or bold, simple or sculptural.
Yours will not look like any of these. It will be made for your person. To be placed in your home. But if something here draws you in, notice it. The shape you keep returning to or the color you can’t stop looking at are telling you something.
Traditional Forms
For some families that familiarity is part of the comfort, and there is nothing plain about a classic silhouette made by hand in the colors your person loved. Traditional here describes the form, not the finish.
Modern Forms
Clean lines and simple geometry. A modern form does not announce what it is, which is why these tend to end up on a shelf or a mantel rather than tucked out of sight.
Sculptural Vessels
Art objects that happen to hold someone. Asymmetry, unexpected volume, shapes built around one particular person rather than around a category.
How it works
-
Complete your purchase to begin the custom commission process. This reserves your place in the studio schedule and gets things moving the next business day.

-
You'll receive an intake form covering form, colors, size, and where the piece will live. There's a space to tell me about them. Take your time with that part, because it's the part that shapes the piece.
-
Some people want a conversation before I begin. Some would rather not, and that's fine too. If a call would help, we'll find a time.
You can schedule a call HERE.
-
Hand-thrown or hand-built, glazed, and fired in my San Francisco studio. Building, drying, glazing and two firings each take the time they take, and every piece is made only once. For your specific person (or pet).
It generally takes 6-8 weeks from the time you begin your commission to receive your finished piece.
-
Your vessel arrives packed and insured, ready to honor your loved one.
